Community

Our community is made up of members, friends, and visitors who come together to grow in wisdom, compassion, and spiritual maturity. It includes young and old, singles and couples, gay and straight, families interested in our children's and youth religious education program, member of our chorus and orchestra, and extends outward to the various groups that we interact with for our social justice programs, as well as many others. We strive to pay attention to the joys and challenges of each other’s lives, and to share the adventure of making the world a better place.
 
We have found that the experience of authentic community doesn’t descend on us just because we join the organization. Only by becoming involved in activities that are important to you and working with others to achieve your goals, are you likely to create the community you want.
