 November Alliance News

Yummy goodies and other creations will be available Sunday, December 12, at 11:30 at the Society annual Holiday Gift and Temptations Sale provided by the Alliance. Plans and preparations were begun at the November 3 Alliance meeting. Volunteer bakers and callers were signed up, but more are welcome. Jan Sigmund is again collecting the food contributions and Gretchen Clemence the gifts to sell.  Items can be brought to the lower assembly room at 9:30 that morning. The Alliance uses the receipts for FUS projects throughout the year. Tony Hauser, classical guitarist, demonstrated various styles of playing such as classical and flamenco at the November 3 Alliance meeting.
 
New members are welcomed at any time. If you are interested in becoming a member, please call Membership Chairpersons Clara Asp or Joyce Blomquist  for more information. Dues remain $25 per household for the year.  Programs are held the first Wednesday of October, November, February, March, April, May, and June plus a December holiday tea with the First Universalist Church. The Alliance is a dynamic group of dedicated members and friends of FUS. Members form friendships, exchange ideas, give service and support to the Society, promote liberal religion, and encourage and inspire personal growth.

Alliance Activities 2010-2011 
 Membership

New members are welcomed. The Alliance is open to all members and friends of FUS. Annual membership dues are $25. This includes couples who are members. Dues should be paid upon receipt of the Alliance Enrollment form so member information can be updated in the membership directory. If you are interested in becoming a member, please call Membership Chairperson Clara Asp for more information. The first program and membership meeting is Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the Society.
