Music is an important part of our Sunday morning service and our history. On Sundays, we sing together, accompanied by a piano or organ. Instrumental interludes often provide for a time of reflection or prayer during services. The type of music featured in each service can vary wildly from one service to the next. Everything from classical music, to folk, to world music might be included in any service, if they relate to the topic of the sermon.

The music program of the First Unitarian Society has a rich array of musical talent.  There are a mulitude of ways to get involved:

  • FUS Chorus
  • FUS Orchestra
  • Community Choir
  • Eclectics Folk Group
  • Music Forums
  • Summer Assemblies Music

For more details about each, check out our Musical Groups page.
